Edna Vazquez

Edna Vazquez was born in Mexico, and performs original songs that reflect her home, and her many Latin American influences bringing the feel of Mexico’s folk music to her audience.  With songs deeply rooted in human emotion and raising awareness about political issues and injustice, Edna is currently on the East Coast touring and comes to us on Oct 4th as a duo playing with Adrianna Locke on violin.  Having played in many notable venues including the Fillmore in San Fransisco, Roseland Theater, Portland OR, and sharing the stage  with the likes of Lila Downs, Gloria Trevi, Molotov, Yolanda del Rio, we are honored to have Edna at this year’s Harvest Concert.

Jenee Halstead

Jenee Halstead: with three albums under her belt and an impressive resume of wonderful reviews, and performances, she is a rising talent not to be missed.  A native of Spokane Washington who moved to Boston in 2007, she has been called a “creative songstress” by Maverick Magazine with vocals that are “haunting and sultry” and with songs that are “fetchingly alternative”.
