HOLY WEEK 2026

All are welcome!

On Palm Sunday, March 29, we will begin our worship by the back door, and all are invited to process around the building and into the sanctuary. You may wait in the church if you wish.

Maundy Thursday, April 2, service will begin with a potluck dinner in the sanctuary at 6:30, leading into worship at 7:15. This year, we are partnering with our sibling congregation, Iglesia Hispana de la Comunidad.

On Good Friday, April 3, Scripture tells us that Jesus breathed his last at around 3PM. For our Good Friday remembrance, we are attending "Solidarity is Sacred: Good Friday Worship & Action for Immigration Justice" on Boston Common. Anyone who wishes to ride the T together can meet at church just before 3PM. At 3PM, we will read the Scripture about Jesus's final moments & have a time of silence/prayer before heading to the T.

Easter Sunday, April 5, service is at 10:30 am.

Hope Central has been thinking about reparations for a few years. We have found the practice of reparations in our scripture - the practice of Jubilee (Leviticus 25), the caring and releasing those in bondage (Luke 4:18-18), and in our vows to care for one another (Isaiah 61:1-2, Psalm 147:3 and I Corinthians 12).
