Hope Central Church
11/6/24 POST-ELECTION SERVICE FOR COMFORT
On this day after, we long to hold space to come together in community. If you want to be with others amidst all that you are feeling, please join us.
Members from the Leadership Circle and Called to Care Team will open our sanctuary from 5:30-7pm. Come for communion, to grieve, to pray, to sing.
Zoom One , Password: URBeloved
We are in person and on Zoom at 10:30 AM on Sunday morning.
We now have portable wheelchair ramps, a chair lift, and a transfer wheelchair available at Door B!
The two ramps are inside door B; you simply open them and put them on the two step-ups leading into door B.
The chair lift is very easy to operate. (You fold down the chair's seat, footrest, and arms and then push the levers on the arms in the direction you want to go.) Please park the chair in the center where you found it so it will charge and be ready for the next user.
The wheelchair is at the top of the stairs to the left of the Church Office.
We are a giving congregation. Your monthly pledges and occasional gifts allow Hope Central to do the work to which God calls us. We are thankful for your generosity.
Reparations Work at Hope Central
Hope Central has been thinking about reparations for a few years. We have found the practice of reparations in our scripture - the practice of Jubilee (Leviticus 25), the caring and releasing those in bondage (Luke 4:18-18), and in our vows to care for one another (Isaiah 61:1-2, Psalm 147:3 and I Corinthians 12).

All are welcome!
